A Well-Seasoned Kitchen is a loving collaboration of mother and daughter, Sally Clayton and Lee Clayton Roper, everyday home gourmet cooks who had a special bond with food always at the epicenter. When Sally began to suffer from osteoporosis and early-stage memory loss, it was natural for Lee to engage her mom by evoking family memories and time shared in the kitchen. Sadly, Sally passed just as the cookbook was entering its final phase. Lee completed it in her honor.
